A Gate Valve is an on-off industrial valve whose core component is a vertically liftable gate plate. It controls fluid on-off by the fitting/separation of the gate plate and valve seat.
Structural Features: It is divided into outside screw & yoke (OS&Y) type (the valve stem moves synchronously with the gate plate, allowing visual observation of the opening/closing state) and non-rising stem (NRS) type (the valve stem is hidden in the valve body, suitable for space-constrained scenarios); when fully open, the flow path is close to a straight pipe, with minimal fluid resistance.
