This is a Cast Steel Flanged Check Valve, an automatic one-way valve driven by the fluid’s own pressure. It mainly consists of a cast steel valve body, a disc-shaped valve core, and a valve seat:It allows forward fluid flow by pushing the valve core open with positive pressure; when the fluid flows backward, the valve core fits the valve seat under reverse pressure and its own gravity, blocking backflow. This prevents medium backflow in the pipeline (e.g., water hammer impact after pump shutdown, medium backflow contamination).
Made of cast steel, it is suitable for medium-high pressure working conditions. The flanged connection facilitates installation and maintenance.
